88-year-old man remanded in prison over N100m land fraud

Pa Adeola Ajidahun was arrested for allegedly defrauding more than 15 victims of over N100m in a land scam in Lekki Resettlement Schemes in Eti-Osa LGA, Lagos. He was charged before Igbosere Magistrates’ Court with fraud. He
was again arrested after he allegedly defrauded a certain Kehinde Ola to the tune of N30m under the false pretence of selling some plots of land at the same resettlement.
Ola wasn’t the only person he allegedly defrauded over the land. Tony Ezeoke, also lost over N10m on the same land. When Ola discovered the fraud, he got him arrested. During investigation, it was discovered he was using an estate agent identified as Felix Olu Fadare, who is now at large, to defraud victims.
Ajidahun was charged with conspiracy, obtaining under false pretence and stealing under the Criminal Code. He was granted bail in the sum of N500,000 with two sureties in like sum but was remanded in Ikoyi prison after his relations did not show up to perfect his bail condition…… ppl r now calling 4d immediate sack of d magistrate dt slammed baba wt such heavy bail……
