Newly Crowned Heavyweight Boxing Champ Anthony Ayodele Joshua Buys His Nigerian Mum A N35.7Million Range Rover

Newly-crowned IBF heavyweight champion of the world, Anthony Joshua has surprised his mum with a new Range Rover.

Joshua took to his Snapchat to share a video of him surprising his mum with the new car at her house.

His mum who is a Nigerian, Yeta Odunsanya is a social worker in North London. In the video shared by the boxer, she could not contain her joy as she stepped inside her new ride.

The all-white Range is thought to be worth around £80,000 (N35.7m).

Joshua was born in Watford to a Nigerian mother and father. He grew up for much of his early years in Nigeria before returning to UK.

Speaking to BBC Sport, Joshua says he stays very much in touch with the Nigeria culture and hopes to fight there one day.

“I have Nigerian parents and I’m still very in touch of the culture as well,” he the 26-year-old.
